Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch 2020-Highlights
Apple’s MacBook Pro 13-inch is the company’s entry-level Pro notebook, representing the best combination of computing comfort and pure power. It is arguably Apple’s most important laptop; the new Pro is the device to get people into the Mac ecosystem – the one that lures and converts those who are on Windows. Not only does it bring in upgraded hardware and a new keyboard that’s a drastic improvement from the previous one, but it comes at a more affordable price.
It’s also a great solution for creative pros and business people who need a light and thin laptop to travel with. The two entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro models feature Intel’s quad-core 8th-generation Core i5 chips, while the two higher-end models include Intel’s newer quad-core 10th-generation Core i5 chips. Performance-wise, it looks promising on paper, with new 10th generation CPUs offering a noticeable boost, and the base model again coming with twice the RAM and storage.

Design
It comes in the same Silver or Space Gray color, and dimensions are roughly the same, at 11.97 x 8.36 x 0.61-inches (304.1 x 212.4 x 156mm). This is slightly thicker than the previous model, which had a depth of 0.59-inches (149mm). It’s also slightly heavier at 3.1 pounds (1.4kg), versus 2019’s 3.02 pounds (1.37kg). The difference won’t be too noticeable for most people, and it’s still reasonably light for a pro laptop.
In the base model, there are two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the left side of the system and a headphone jack on the right side. The higher end model steps you up to four Thunderbolt 3 ports, which allows you to plug in more peripherals at once.
